Veteran-Focused EMDR Training for Therapists (Coming Soon)
Join the Waitlist & Newsletter
I’m developing an EMDR Basic Training and trauma-focused education pathway built for real-world clinical work—especially for clinicians working with Veterans, Service Members, and complex trauma.
This training will be practical, grounded and designed to help you feel confident using EMDR—not just in ideal cases, but with the clients you actually see every day.
Get early access, clinical pointers, and updates as training develops.

Why I’m Building This Training
Most EMDR trainings teach the standard protocol well—but many clinicians leave feeling underprepared for:
- Multi-layered or complex trauma
- Moral injury
- Dissociation and fragmentation
- Military and Veteran presentations
- Co-occurring compulsions or addictions
- Trauma influenced by identity and values
- Documentation and systems pressures
After 17 years in mental health and 26 years in the Army, I’ve seen clinicians do remarkable work when they have:
- a clear conceptual framework,
- a grounded understanding of trauma systems, and
- support applying EMDR to real-world complexity, not just textbook examples.
This training is being developed slowly and intentionally to meet those needs.
What I’m Planning on Offering
Training is still in development, but current plans include:
EMDR Basic Training
- Virtual format
- Optional hybrid retreat integration (St. Thomas, USVI)
- Case-focused, trauma-informed teaching
- Designed for clinical confidence and skill development

- Combat and training-related trauma
- Identity disruption and transition stress
- Military culture and operational stress
- Shame, guilt, and meaning-based themes
